Questioning about Window 7 upgrade from Vista

Ya ya i still haven't upgrade to window 7 yet... still using Vista SP2, but i want to start moving on and jump to Window 7 bandwagon, but i dont want to do a fresh install, because i'm too lazy to reinstall all the crap that was in my system tongue.gif

I had ran the compatibility software thingy, the only driver that is not compatible is some Atheros Communications Driver that is related to ethernet, and few microsoft framework stuff, and games, i didn't think it'll cause any problems, and my main concern is since i have mutliple drive, D E and F drive (for storage), and C as my main boot drive, will upgrade delete all my storage drive when ugprading? I couldn't find those info on OCN or google.

What about Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 PCI-E Ethernet Controller? Advisor said is need updated driver, i couldn't find any online except ATHEROS L1E Driver V1.0.0.45 for Windows 32bit XP/64bit XP/32bit Vista/64bit Vista/32bit Win7/64bit Win7. from Asus main support site, but i'm not sure is it the same, one from Asus is Sept 23, 2009, while the current i have is Sept 20, 2009 version 1.0.0.43, i'm not even sure is it the same stuff

The upgrade will not destroy your storage drive. As for your Atheros, you will most likely be fine. Even if there is not a specific Windows 7 version you can use the vista version in Windows 7. The drivers are almost identical.
