Curious; how did you cut you fan hole in bottom of case?

raised the case, the fan is moving air..but not the amount i would like it to.

might as well buy a new fan.

DSC05303.JPG

i gave my case to a metal workshop, they did it for me within 30 seconds!! :D

you could do it at home with a dermal, but that will require buying one, learning to use it properly(its fairly simple tough) and patience to cut a circular hole.i had neither :p

metal workshop guys have the right tools and skills plus its cheaper than doing it yourself.

i modified and painted the case myself tough :D

PS-Raising the case height does help in the air flow.thanks!

not trying to be mean, but all this could have been avoided if you had taken the $ you would spend on modding the case and applied it to buying a better case to begin with...

Actually, modding a case is fun. You get to work on it and work on it, and it dawns on you what a good case would look like if you bought one new, and you look for one over the months and years. I modded my Beta Evo with a bottom hole and I removed all the grills. It's actually turned out pretty well.

I know what I would like in a case, but nobody makes just what I want. So I wait. In the mean time, I have my modded case.

Hmmm. In the 'mean' time. I think that's a pun.

My motherboard blew up today, so my backup is in currently and I don't have enough fan headers with this one. I plan on buying a motherboard on Thursday or Friday and hopefully it will get here next week sometime. So once I get the new board I'll give feedback on the new fans.

Fan headers are not needed for case fans. Get your power from your PSU and don't molest your motherboard.
