800D or C70

I know one is a mid size and one is a full tower, i am just torn on which to get of the 2. I would like to go to a mid size as i have the antec now, although the size of the case really does not bother me. I love the 800D because of all the room inside but i am not fond of its air flow, as i will not be water cooling, the only thing i will have is the h100 for the top, and i saw a setup where they had 2 fans @ the bottom of the radiator and then another to at the top of the radiator and the 800d took that like a champ with plenty of room to spare.

Seems like the c70 can take the h100 but not with a total 4 fan configuration as i stated above.

I am sure the c70 should be able to swallow my 5970 w/ no problem but that shouldn't be that big of a deal as i will be upgrading my pc including the GFX

opinions needed!

I would pick up the C70 or the 650D if you like the looks, and if you are not going the water cooling route these would be perfect and if the bug ever bites you you can do some modding

800D is great for watercooling. It have big room. If I'm not mistaken, you can put 360mm rad at the top. In C70, you can put up to 280mm rad at the top. Since you only use H100 & doesn't plan for watercooling expansion, then this is suitable case for you. In case you want to expand watercooling later, you can fit two 120mm rads or one 120mm & one 140mm rads in C70. BTW, if you want to do push-pull setup on the H100, you will need to put the other two fans on the top of the casing (outside).

There are several reviews you can read that may help you make the decision. They even install the hardware in it. So, you can see how all the hardware fits in it.

you dont want to have too much space. I think you should go with a c70, 650D or if like the look, a 600t

I had a C70 but quickly converted to a 800D because i had a ton of water cooling hardware that would not fit in a C70.

Both are quality cases and here is my C70 when i had a H100 installed -

It would be tight but depending on the mobo you might be able to go push n pull.

800D is worthless and in another class, C70 looks like a good all around case so if you have the misfortune of only having these two options, get the C70.

800D, I had one, pretty good case and apparently better than C70. The C70 has an interior weird, one more reason to choose the 800D

LOL ummm there is no comparison between the 2 as far as room.

I don't see how the 800D is worthless when it has been so popular for so long and the quality is top notch.

I have stuffed over 2k worth of water cooling upgrades in it.

The only step up from a 800D would be a Caselabs build which i can upgrade to at any time but i will prob go with the up coming 900D.
