Intel C2D Temps!!

ok, this is getting frustrating for me, my PC case temp. reading shows 27c. asus pc probe 2 shows 32c. and TAT shows 42c. for my CPU! which one is right? my WC fan is set on high and case fan is + .5 v. . which one do u think is right?

TAT is the one to Rely on as it reads the CPU diode temp which is the sensor which is directly in your CPU.

ok thanks so my cpu is at 42c? thanks kinda high dont u think for my current settings. heard stock has the same temp. as that

Well For the E6700 i think thats not too high. However the use of better thermal compound such as AS5 may help.

Good luck also use of a better radiator or fans for that wc setup will help oh and btw the max thermal spec for that cpu is 80c..Your well in the safe zone.
