More or less dust with side open?

So the title say it all, i mean with the case close since it has less space to draw air in, could it create more negative pressure and accumulate more dust over time than with the side open? Because when it's open it have all the air needed and doesn't need to draw it in by little holes like fan mesh, could it create less dust over time?

ALOT more dust with side open... the side door at least act as a barrier for dust. w/o it dust is free to come into the case whenever.. heck w/o the side door, the inside of the case can get dusty even if you don't use the computer at all biggrin.gif

More dust, but it's give and take. If you clean your rig often though I wouldn't see any issues with having it open. Sometimes I need the side off cause I can't stand the noise sounding like a runway during some games.
