Which SSD should i choose? - Page 4

My Kingston HyperX 3K seems to be fast and nippy smile.gif. I bought it because it was going cheap (£64.99) due to a special deal with Scan.co.uk. It's Sandforce controlled which seems to be a swear word on here at the moment tongue.gif. Here is the ATTO benchmark I did with it running in my laptop (HP G6 i5 2430M 6GB RAM).

What does it do in ASSSD please? ive had drives that show good in Atto yet in my system they are rubbish! Like added time to reastarts and taking up to twice as long as my older ssd's to do a Avast quick scan...

Hope this helps. The drive seems to perform slower in my lappy compared to a lot of benchmarks I've read. Probably something crippling it a bit (like being a HP tongue.gif).

edit: Here's a Hexus review of the same drive in 240GB http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/storage/41669-kingston-hyperx-3k-ssd-240gb/?page=5
