Crosshair V BIOS Corrupted? HELP

Help please! My motherboard won't post and I'm getting a blank black screen.

Yesterday, I went on a BF3 spree with some of my friends; played for a good couple of hours. I turned off my computer to took a break, but when I came back I got an error message:

EC or EC Flash might be corrupted... (won't boot to windows)

Checked to see if I plugged my front panel to the wrong pins, took them out and put them back in.
I went on to unplug all the power and take out the cmost battery. Afterwards, I was able to boot up to bios every other time I turned and turned off my computer. It would not boot to windows with my overclock, only in stock 3.3.

I put the cmos battery in, clicked the clear CMOS button on the back of the motherboard, and now the damn thing won't even boot to bios.

What should I do?! Please help, I'm kind of stumped. When I get home from work tonight, I'm going to take apart my entire rig then reconnect everything.

It was back and forth of both...which confused me. I just got home, placed my computer on the side to get a better view (i honestly didn't get to work on her as much as I wanted to cuz i have to wake up at 6AM..so sleep is sort of more on the priority list haha).

I noticed my mb ram light was red this time...so I took out a stick and bam..im back on my computer... I'm about to start testing the two sticks of ram to see how and what couldve gone wrong. I never over volted them beyond 1.5-1.52ish and only pushed them around dfifferent latencies...maybe cpu/nb couldve done something to them...unlikely i would think though.

I will report back in an hour .

Looks like it is the RAM....stuck it into another computer in the house and it's causing black screens. Sigh, I put the original ram back into the computer and it still won't POST. Starting to think this stick of RAM is poisoin >.> Do you know any solutions to making a computer POST? I took out the corrupted ram and put everything back in but still black screen. At the moment, I unplugged everything and took out the CMOS battery for energy drainage. Is there anything else I can do if/when that fails to correct the issue?

truckerguys right, test one stick at a time, hopefully your bios isn't out. If it's a single stick, you'll know soon enough. Ensure also that all of your cards and CPU are firm on the MB. Ensure nothing has spilled on it. Buy try the one stick at a time method in your first slot. That should work through process of elimination.

The thing is, I have. My main computer is fine, and because of process of elimination, I have determined that it was the bad stick of ram. However, I wanted to make sure it wasn't my motherboard so I stuck her into another rig I had in the house. The secondary rig failed to POST and I could not even go to the BIOS. Therefore, I thought, great! I have determined it was a bad stick of ram. I replaced the faulty RAM with the one originally in the second rig...but now it won't post. The secondary rig is an asus board also, but with only two slots for ram (775 socket...i forget it's something P55 whatever). I stuck it into both, back and forth but now it does the samething.

Is it possible that a bad stick of ram could have corrupted the BIOS of a motherboard?! My original computer's motherboard, the Crosshair V, recovered fine after I removed the CMOS battery and removed the RAM. Why won't my secondary rig do the same?
