Let's start with the sound. Pioneer is known as the #1 Professional DJ headphones brand and much of that technical know-how is now packed into the Steez Dubstep headphones to meet the demands of today's younger, music-savvy clientele. The Steez Dubstep headphones, with a design reminiscent of Pioneer's professional DJ headphones, include oversized 40mm drivers, swiveling earcups, and interchangeable color earpads.
as a dubstep dj i think these are fail. first of all. I do not want something to plug into my iphone. serious points loss right there. secondly im not sure 40mm drivers are going to be enough to deliver the kind of bass response used to listen to and or mix good dubstep music. this smells to much like a marketing ploy to capture ignorant peoples money.

I really wish I had listend to the audio guys on these forums before I went out and bought a pair of corsair vengeance 1500's. I hadn't realized how bad gaming headphones are for good bass. Also my Corsair's left ear has died for the second time in 4 months, got to see if they'll take a 2nd RMA for the same problem
. Should just forked over the extra $50-80 for a nice pair + sound card. Live and learn I guess.
My Denon DN-HP700 headphones are pretty good too. Very similar to D7000s but not as "impressive", they have a more "personal" sound. Overall, I believe Denon is one of the best headphone makers right now.
Those headphones need some color, I bet it be a pain to find those in a all white painted room. Never less marketing at it finest, but no thx My DT880 pro-250 does dub-step and any other DnB music greatly with out making my head explode from the bass.
