Welcome

This is my build log for my first PC that im building. I plan on buying most of the parts off OCN not sure of the budget. Im going to be doing Eyefinity. Then I will be painting my case to have red accents.The parts im looking for are below in bold thanks for reading!thumb.gif

Well first of all, I like the build because it starts with my name. tongue.gif

Then, let's take a look at the parts, shall we?

CPU:
If you're on a budget, I'd go with a 3570K. If you have money to spare and want to add a little more overkill to your setup, go for an i7 3770K. smile.gif

GPU:
Go with the 670 if you're on a fair budget, or the Radeon HD7970 if you've got a little more to spare, or the 680 if you want the best (arguably). Alternatively, the 690 is basically two 680s on one card in SLI mode. smile.gif

PSU:
When choosing PSUs, it's best to take a look at the brand name. Generally, if it starts with or ends with a C, it's a good brand. Corsair, Antec, Cooler Master, SeaSonic,... Try going for an 80+ Gold certified PSU, such as the Corsair AX850W.

SSD:
Go for the Crucial M4 128GB if you want the best bang for the buck, or the Intel 520 series 120GB if you simply want the best SSD around.

Motherboard:
I'd recommend the ASUS Z77 Sabertooth for the duty. Looks gorgeous, has quad SLI capabilities (that is, two 690s wink.gif ) and will overclock nicely.

Im looking to buy from people here on OCN to try and save some money first. And yeah I upped the budget $500 so I could go SLI. Well now im thinking of getting like a 590 or 690 so them I could have another slot on my MOBO. Also figured I need a 1000w to do that, so I changed that too.
