Budget Build for Facebook, Homeworks etc..

Thread Starter 
A friend asked me to help her build a PC for her friend and its something basic for her to get around .. No OC & slight gaming.. I am a little out of touch with the value hardware's so idk if I should go AMD or Intel Just want to get some good value components since shes poor. I was thinking something with integrated gpu..

If they really want cheap, then an AMD APU is going to be the way to go. I can't post links to ebay right now, but also get at least 1600mhz RAM, because the APUs respond very well to higher RAM frequencies, and 1600mhz is still cheap.

I don't really know much about the budget AMD motherboards, so I won't comment on those.

When you say slight gaming, what kind of games are you talking about?

Like, browser based flash games on Facebook? Or actual games like Battlefield 3 or Starcraft 2?

nooo i definitely mean low end gaming.. like Facebook, n64 emulator!

i was looking at a g620 with h61.. hows that? the fella above recommended amd apu.. which would cost less?
