When's the silent part kicking in? If you looking for a silent case I'd look at the 550D as for monitor that's going to be your opinion but Asus has a great lineup.

Skip the big cases, they are no good for air cooling. get the smaller versions of them for air cooling. I rather spend ~100-125 dollars max for a case unless you going watercooling.

go with the ivy bridge to utilize the pcie 3.0 with your vid cards

with that budget go up to gtx 680 ... get either 2gb or 4gb depending on your monitor resolution. don't get DCUII versions because its a 3 slot and it will be touching in SLI.

stick with 1600mhz ram no need for 1866mhz

grab the crucial m4 ssd .. its cheaper and more reliable.

once again with a budget like that... get the extreme 9 or asus maximus V or even the new gigabyte UP7 if u can wait.

Grab the antec 920 instead or stick with a air cooler like the noctua NH-D14

monitor wise if budget can accommodate a 2560x1440 resolution monitor.

Could also consider a multi-monitor setup as well.
