Decent cooling system

Thread Starter
Hi, can you suggest any good cooling system (air or water) so that my temps would stay below 65C.
CPU : AMD Phenom || X4 955 3.2Ghz
MB: ASUS M4A79XTD EVO
Current Cooling System: Corsair H60
Graphics: Sapphire 6950 2 GB
RAM: 8Gb Corsair DDR3

At this moment after playing diablo 3 i have 82C. A little bit worried.
i would take a look at the coolermaster tpc 812. it has dual vapor chambers and 6 heatpipes. i would get a second fan and put it in push-pull config, and get some good TIM. now as i look at those temps, it seems weird. did you put the thermalpaste on well enough, is it seated properly? that seems a bit strange because my father has a 8120 oc'd to 4.2 and that doesnt go over 70C

EDIT: link to cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103176&Tpk=tpc%20812

sounds like you need better case ventilation and perhaps add a second fan to your h60 for a push /pull configuration..make sure it is pulling fresh cool air from outside case

what hit 82c?...if it's your gpu the case ventilation will help but to keep it below 65c will require water imo...either a water loop..or the h60/h80 mod for gpu

yeah thats way to hot....make sure it's pulling in fresh air and that it is tight...would for sure be worth a change of tim....has it always ran hot?

edit: by always run hot i ment has it always or did this just happen...as in maybe some type of hardware failure

sounds like

A: a clogged radiator
B: Dry or no Thermal Compound
C: Waterblock not contacting IHS
D: Faulty Waterpump/not plugged in

I used an H50 to cool a 1055T running at 4ghz with 1.55v. Your H60 is ample.

so what can i do about it?
start by making sure your radiator is clean and that the fan is blowing and that it is getting cool outside air....if it is then you need to reseat your waterblock to the cpu

well usually it's going up till 72C but today it went up to 82C and stayed for about 5min then it dropped to 65C. My case is BitFenix Surviror Core. It has a 200mm fan up.
