My brothers computer could use an upgrade. He tried upgrading it to AM3 build on next to no budget, to play GTA IV. This triple core if it still works will help out big time pushing that poorly ported game.

Yeah ill bite. i don't live in Seattle, but just south of the Tacoma area so the dude above my post will probably have dibs because I would prefer not to pick up. I'd use it for my main system cuz this system is just getting more and more unstable due to hardware degradation. I can't get this to boot stable over 700 MHZ FSB. A quadcore and 8 gigs of memory at 1600 DDR3 will give this system a boost to live another 3-5 years.

I really wanted to give priority to people doing something crazy with the CPU or who would use it for the betterment of others. As such. it came down to the Folders and the extreme overclockers. Since there weren't any local Folders, it's going to just_nuke_em. If he doesn't take it, I'm tossing the Folders in a hat and giving it to one of you.
