For Sale or Trade:
Broken/Semi-working GPUs (9800GX2, GTX285, 5770)

Will Ship To: Anywhere

I have a 9800GX2, GTX285, and 5770 up for sale. The 285 and GX2 both do not display video. The GX2 however lights up completely green (which usually indicates no hardware faults), and I have a hunch the integrated SLI connector is what's causing this issue. The 5770 is fully functional, but does require another card for the computer to post for whatever reason.

Asking $25 shipped for the 285, $35 shipped for the GX2, and $55 shipped for the 5770. Discounts for folders/BOINCers as well ($23, $30, and $45 respectively). PM offers as well. I'm open to trades.

EDIT: Or take all of them for $90 shipped.

Have you tried baking the 9800 and 285? Go search it on YouTube. It revived my 8800!

Thanks for the tip. I have baked a few cards in the past, but don't really want to screw around with this stuff anymore. Trying to clear out all my extra inventory. Who knows? Buyer may get a card easily revived by a bake. thumb.gif

Smart move thumb.gif the first thing i look for in repairable cards, is if they have been baked or not, baking cards can hurt the chances of PROPERLY repairing them later with a workstation and proper flux.
