Yeah, it looks like either a 1045t, or 1065t (95w as well) would probably be your best bet for that board.

The 1055T is 125 watts and my mobo cant handle that much wattage. nevermind i just seen that they do make one that is also 95 watts my bad. I thought they all where 125 watts.

i didnt know about the 1065 being 95 watts i'll look into that more, id really like to get one of those if i can find one, all i can find atm at online stores is the 1045T. Its hard to find any cause they quit making most of the 6 core cpus.

After looking at them more, it seems the 1065T was an OEM chip, so short of buying a Gateway or something with one in it, I don't think you'll have much luck finding one.

 

Which is a bummer too, because it has 14.5x multi, instead of 13.5x on 1045T.

Yeah i know, they have pretty much quit making all the decent 6 core cpu's, they are hard to find so i'll prolly just go with a 1045T unless i can find a 1055T 95 watt on ebay or something.

Does your 960T unlock?  That might be your best bet, and just get a beefy Thuban, or FX CPU for the 990 board.

No it doesnt i wish it did so i'm just gonna keep it for my gaming rig cause its still a fast cpu and works great for gaming.
