Would it be a noticable difference? Also, would you recommend the one's I already got, or some other make/package?

There is a huge difference between 1 Gig RAM and 2 Gig.

i'd reccomend a 7300GT as a video card as its in your price range and is a little better (but not much) than a 6600GT
cant complain..

Leadtek 7300GT. That 7300GT has GDDR3 memory which makes it much faster than most of the other 7300GTs. It is also an excellent overclocker if you decide that you want to. It will beat a 6600GT when it is a stock and when overclocked is way more powerful than a 6600GT. If you do light gaming then this card is definately a good budget card.

haha of course. But I meant if it is noticeable really in using applications/games. Because when I upgraded from 512MB DDR PC3200 to 1GB, I didn't really notice much difference.

RE: GFX Card

Ah I think u guys missed by edit, but I already did decide on the 7600gt

I'd get that eVGA 7600GT over BFG. eVGA rocks in overclocking.

And yes 2Gb is really a difference compared to 1Gb. Most modern games would need at least 1Gb of RAM to run smooth, but when they say 1Gb, it isn't really just 1Gb, since the game isn't the only application you're running. Take it one year back, when I still have 1Gb of RAM and a 6800GT, and I couldn't run BF2 smoothly at times. But when I threw in another 1Gb stick, BF2 couldn't even bother to stutter.
