Sounds good to me. One of the problems with 4 way SLI was the pcie lane allocation.

I love the idea of this but it just sounds too far fetched to be true. The cost would be astronomic and I'm pretty sure it would require PCI Express 3.0 X16 link to handle it. If the cost was somewhere between Tri-SLI and Quad SLI 680's I could see it being worthwhile.

I honestly would believe it more if it was a quad GPU designed more along the lines of their workstation models and not a gaming GTX model. Workstations could use the quad-GPU for video-rendering and high dpi photography, but aside from that, it would potentially be severe overkill for gaming.....

unless you're into BF3 at 220FPS at max setting
