C or C++ for all applications. Occasionally some Assembly for light programs. PHP for web programming. And AS3 for... stuff.

Common Lisp, Python, C, asm

I've also been playing with J and find it very powerful (though I'm sure the old APL'ers here already know)

@duckieHo
Have you ever used clojure? It's the JVM & libraries without the aweful Java syntax (it uses a lisp-1 dialect with fewer parentheses, but I guess nothing on the JVM's perfect)

C# and C++
I've never used any other language, but I heard that python is really easy to use.

I program mostly for AVR stuff, so I'm forced to use C and C++

C# for me because it feels neater than Java and the VB (my first language) annoys me extremely with it's allowance for terrible, terrible code and even worse error handling.
