Now I believe no... I looked up the cooler I had it doesn't say 2011.

However all the mounts fit perfectly.

We kinda figured there wasn't enough pressure on the CPU.

There is also no coolant that performs better than straight water. He'll be decreasing his cooling power for no reason. This "super coolant" does not exist.

Antec will send you the kit if you ask AFAIK.

It says that you are using the right bracket but wrong thumbscrews. I installed the cooler to my system not too long ago and it's the 2011 edition, which means that it comes with 2 sets of thumbscrews: one set for 1156/1366/775 and one set for 2011. The reason the bracket works for you is that the mount uses the same holes for 1366 and 2011, but you need the 2011-thumbscrews to get the right pressure. That is why you have high temps. Your CPU likely works just fine, and so does the cooler.
So, how about you ask Antec to send you the right thumbscrews and try the cooler properly mounted before you decide that the cooler and cpu suck? If I remember correctly, they will send you the 2011-set free of charge (might have to show proof or purchase).

Okay, I've cleaned up this thread. Since I believe everyone's had their say, and it's this point it's devolved to a flame war, I'm locking the thread down for a cooling-off period. Rapier, you can PM me or another Senior Moderator if you change your mind and decide to continue the conversation, and we'll unlock it after 1 day.
