Ebay the GTX 570 (bought for $240 only) and get a GTX 670 now.
  • 47% (23)
Keep GTX 570 and wait for the super power for GK110
  • 14% (7)
None, just keep GTX 570 until it can't keep up at all anymore...don't worry about your 120hz monitor (not getting 60+ fps) .

Well I know I'm going to wait for GK110. 90% more cuda cores than the 1536 found in the gtx680 should provide some excellent results thumb.gif

You could always keep the 570 and use it as a Physx card later

Meh, new and next gen cards have more than enough power to not require a separate card for physx.

@OP: Keep the card, it is fine and will get you through to the next generation, we should see 700 series in less than a year.

For 1080p your GTX 570 is fine.
I just upgraded from a GTX 570.
My 570 is now in my living room/theater PC. Perfect GPU for 1080p.

However, this 670 was a massive upgrade for my resolution.
This thing is a total beast.

You won't regret it, but for your resolution your 570 should still hold up fine.
I had mine overclocked to stock 580 performance, and it actually did very well at 1600p.

And I could run PhsyX with my 570 on some games.
It is a 320bit GF-110, a GTX 570 is a respectable GPU.

Stick with the 570 and wait a little bit; unless you just have spare money laying around and don't mind shipping and waiting again. What games are you playing?

If that's the case, then keep the GTX 570 -- should be more than plenty for that game.

just wait for GK110 and save for the top end one...i am pretty sure the GTX570 can still max out titles xcept the VRAM demanding ones and its just 5-6 months left IF Nvidia tends to release the GK110 in JAN or FEB 2013
