I'm currently running 8gbs of ddr3 1333mhz. I have about $100 bucks to get some better ram. I was thinking of just grabing 16gbs of 1600mhz but then i was thinking i really don't need 16gbs right now. I mean even in a year i could just upgrade again. So i was thinking should i get some beefy 2133mhz or 1866mhz ram? I was looking at the Gskill Sniper 2133mhz but the timings were like 10,10,10,33 or something and i'm not sure how all the timing stuff works. Would that be a good upgrade. Is it really going to matter going with raw speeds over timings. I know a lot of people are like just get 1600mhz now adays but what really is the benefit of getting super fast speeds like that. Would it only benefit people that are overclocking the base clock or would it make a difference all around. All i do on my PC is game so it would only really benefit gaming.
