as i said before, i would try that CPU on a different motherboard before buying a new CPU. The CPU is the most resilient part of any PC. the only way a q6600 G0 processor would be that bad is if any previous owner ran it with far too much voltage and effectively "killed" it.
I think if that were the case you would be having issues with it requiring alot more voltage at stock than what it is suppose to have.

Any ideas on why a board is unclockable tho?
