This seems to fit into your price range... I have heard good things. I like the Gigabyte Boards.

EDIT: No SLI... but other than that, people really seem to like these.

Asus P5B-E (better than the non-E version in RAID, same in everything else) or Gigabyte DS3/S3. The S3 and DS3 are the same thing 'cept for the caps on the board.

How do the caps affect ocing?

Also, is that Asus nice for OCing? I was told from an owner of the gigabyte s3 that it performs well w/o the caps and you save alot of money. Any words on this?

The caps dont affect ocing in any way, it just affects the life of the board. The s3 w/ non solid caps is supposedly like 3-5 yrs but i would still go for that considering u will probly be ready to upgrade by then.

I'll second that, picked mine up this morning, super easy and has all the bells and whistles, except full raid options, only two slots allotted...

I think you mean the Gigabyte 965P DS3, the 965G does not compare in overclocking. The 965G has onboard graphics and to prevent damage to the NB chip they limited the overclockability on this board. Ive had both, dont make the mistake I did. The 965P DS3 is a great motherboard for the price. The only con I can think of is that only two of the SATA ports have RAID. I dont regret spending the extra money for the solid state caps.
