Are these idle temps good?

If you filled out your rig data I could tell.

What heat sink?
Water?
Room temp?

I'd say it's about normal to a bit good.

The problem here is that those are after 1 minute of prime assuming you started realtemp before prime. Try running prime for 2 hours or so and report back. smile.gif

Phase change cooling.

But anyways back to your questions, 83C as the max temp is still okay but it's at the upper limits before the chip will start throttling. I would suggest that you run prime95 for a few hours and report back.

What kind of voltages are you running?

ok here ya go I know its not a few hours straight but I been up all night getting this thing dialed in so its about as warm as it will go.... was thinking about popping the water block off and making a grilled cheese samich... all joking aside I have some temps and volts to show...

588

temps playing bf3 ^ ^ 588

Cpuz shot, I got volts set to 1.535 in bios, it kicks up to 1.544 and 1.565 at the most ( as I have watched and stared at CPUZ for the last hour and half) 588

LMAO.....good show man! I'm tempted to hook mine up right now, but it throws off too much heat.

OP, you may be able to drop your vcore down a little bit if you use the 125 strap. Some are reporting that with the 125 strap and lower multi, they don't need as much vcore, which may allow you to drop your VCSSA and PLL a little too (sorry if my acronyms are off a little....first time on Intel, so I'm still learning the differences from when I was on AMD). thumb.gif
