I just got the 7970 today, plugged everything in and I can not get my Samsung 305t to display anything more 800p.


I have tried both DL-DVI slots, I have tried 12.2 and 12.4 nothing is working ... and I am getting weird Artifacts randomly ...

Bad card?

Whats is going on ...

but you can see the artifacting and that was with 12.4 installed and with 12.2 does the same dang thing!!!

Plugged it into my wife's computer right next to my desktop and it has a 275 gtx and runs it just fine.

Sounds like you're missing a driver for the monitor to me, or something else is screwy with your AMD drivers. Not sure why.
