See that cord workers perfect with any other card high or low end I am using ... So why would i need to spend a lot of $$$ on a high end DL DVI cable?
For kicks and gigles, what cord you using?

And there is a switch on the card to choose between single link vs dual link.
You are probably simply using the wrong connector or didn't put the switch to the correct position:

For the green artifacts, you simply have to remove the backplate and put some thermal pads directly on the VRMs. Be sure the pads are thick enough to touch the backplate with the backplate back in place.
I had the same problem with mine. My 7970 DCII was artifacting at stock speed lol! Putting some EK thermal pads on the VRMs on the back side did the trick for me.

OMW when I was testing it out on Fuchure mark i was getting like ... 2-5 FPS more then my Asus 670 DCIIT ... and that card was/is fast! I like this card but the random GREEN artifacting and the (yes weird i know)
clicking on of the fans ... I am super sad at this point

(when it was being pushed hard and spun fast it started to click!! OMW!!!!)
