Can't Overclock 1075T past 3.7

Hello everyone, and thanks in advance for your help. I recently got a new motherboard, and was trying to overclock my AMD Thuban 1075T. I managed to get it to 3.7ghz on stock voltage.If I crank it up past that, however, it seems like no amount of vcore can stabilize it. Just to bump the fsb up to 250, I had to crank the voltage up to 1.416. I haven't been able to achieve a stable 3.8 yet, yet nearly everything I've seen indicated that this chip is good for at least 4.0ghz. Thanks in advance for your help!

Specs:

Asus M5A97 Motherboard
Amd Thuban 1075T (Stock 3.0ghz)
2x HD 6870
8gb g.skill ram (1333)

Current overclock:
3.762ghz
250v fsb
1.416v vcore
1.25v cpu/nb
1.5v dram

When overclocking using the FSB you are infact overclocking many other things as well.

I believe your problem is the fact that your ram is being overclocked.

You currently have it running at 1333, as you increase your FSB more you are OC'n the ram as well.

You can try to increase the ram voltage, but being 1333Mhz memory, do not expect miracles.

Do not increase it more then 0.15v above its design.

Also as you increase your FSB you are increasing your CPU NB req. which will also require more voltage.

I would recommend reading and re reading this guide until it makes sense.

Then this table will be very helpful and actually make sense as well.

You need to get ram with more clocking headroom. 1600 or above. 1333 is very unstable for overclocking a locked multiplier cpu.
