Upgrade from GTX 480

hi all

I'm overdue an upgrade and looking to replace my aging 480, wondered what I should upgrade to... I know the 690 would be overkill since I game on a 24" so looking to see which is the best graphics card for 1920*. I'd like to play games at the highest quality.

Current spec:

Intel Core i5 2500K
ASRock Fatal1ty Z68 Professional
8GB Ripjaws 1600MHz
Cooler Master GX 650W

Dude I am running a HD 6950 2 GB and am enjoying all the latest games maxed out at 1080p. the only game I ran at slightly lower settings was BF3 at Ultra 2X MSAA. You have a more powerful card than mine, especially in DX11 games. Just wait for another 6 months till Jan 2013. Save up USD 550 - 600 and go for the 7 billion transistor beast GTX 780. That card will thrash the GTX 680 and make it look silly. thumb.gif

If you only do gaming then no reason to wait for GK110.
Get a GTX 680 and be done with it.
