"Eh" is more because it runs Windows..

Fot those of us in the Apple walled garden it's gets rather expensive to leave so the reason needs to be compelling..

A 4x6 grid of icons by any other name...

They just turned the WP homescreen into a tile-based widget screen (and only one, vertical scrolling screen at that). This brings them up to Android 2.x before honeycomb/ICS brought the idea of a combination of tile and resizeability. All that's left is for them to allow users to have folder tiles (like iOS).
