Morning OCN,
Needing a little advice. I have a 500gig black drive in my work pc now and I need to image it over to a 240gig Ocz Agility 3. I can't install a new OS. I have way to much software and licensing with all my programs. One company will make me buy another code to unlock my CNC programing software (which is why I want a backup drive) if I do. Installing the OS over would take way to much time to get everything back.
Our so called IT company that takes care of our server and crap can't figure it out. The guys are pretty useless and I DO NOT want them inside my pc (physically). They've logged in many times and tried the ghosting or imaging and the drive is imaged but will not boot at all. I've done just about everything I can think of. We use "Paragon Migrate hard drive to SSD" and that doesn't work. It's not putting the proper boot files on the drive for some reason. Asked the company and they said to do a Windows repair which didn't work either.
Any of you that has done this successfully, please explain. I've tried reading a bunch through Google and really don't have the time to waste at work.
Here's a couple pics of what the drives are looking like as of now. C: is what I'm on and F: is what I want to be on.
