[Eurogamer] Final Fantasy VII Coming To Steam, Leak Suggests - Page 5

FF7 isnt over-rated at all... Its a proven fact that its a fantastic game. Over rated is when a game gets blown up by ppl who have barely played a game. Most fans of FF7 have beat it many times. Over rated games dont still get played 15 years after they came out, and over rated games dont get re-released... When CoD 4 gets re-released in 2026, Ill retract my statement, but I doubt it.

FF7 for LIFE!!! smile.gif

Not really worth it IMO, especially when the original is so accessible (and that's before a Steam release). I'd rather see those resources go into making new games in a timely fashion (*cough*Versus XIII*cough*).

Uhh, except Advent Children is a movie, not a game.
Advent Children is not FFVII.

FFVII is still the most popular installment in the series to date. I'm still hoping they produce a proper remake someday. I am however excited to see the rerelease on steam.

This is funny I just got the PC copy of it and am halfway through it right now. I would still play it again though on steam just for the achievements.

This is my first time playing it since ps1 and wow is it buggy, but totally worth it. I dont even care about the crappy resolution, but updated res and graphics would be welcome.

Count me in with the group of people who would easily pay big dollars (up to about $200) for a remake of this game on the PC with current 2012 DX11 graphics and unlimited resolutions.
