Bought A Refurbished iTouch 4G, Can't Change Name.

I'm not sure how to change this. I've changed the name in iTunes, completely restored it as well as jailbroke it, and tried editing the name in the Properties panel. It doesn't change. Is there a way I'm missing? Would love to fix this!

"Landon" is the name I want to get rid of.
"Dylan 8GBW" is what I want to change it to and is what I put in in iTunes.

Yeah I have no idea why. There has to be some way to fix it. Maybe a hidden .cfg file?

I never actually tried plugging it into my desktop iTunes. I was on vacation the past 3 weeks so all I had was my laptop with me. I'll give that a try but I have a feeling it'll probably still be "Landon".

I do believe you dont change it in the properties panel, but you select the itouch in the itunes application and then you double-click to rename it. smile.gif
