Its this one above, reduced from £140. Looks like a really decent drive, was it a good purchase? How does this compare to crucial m4 or vertex 4?

Yep, it is a great drive. Better than the M4 and very high reliability. I can't really compare it to the V4 as I am still undecided on it.

I'm considering an SSD purchase in a few months,and that Samsung 830 one is very high up my list from everything I've heard about it,performs decently,and is very reliable(only it's much more expensive than 80 pounds around here,ofc frown.gif)...

Still,the one I'm most likely to get is Intel 520 120GB...

I've had the 830 128Gb for about 7 months now and it's fantastic.
I recommend to anyone now and just ordered a 256 for a buddy's computer I'm building.
