My son has the original Company of Heroes game and wants to install it on a Vista computer. He says there's a DX10 patch somewhere.
I have been looking at various websites for patches and am totally lost. Patches progress from 1.0 to 2.6 or thereabouts and there's about 15 patches. Do I have to download and install ALL these patches in order? If so, can someone point me to and easy website (no registration required) where I can download all the patches? I've noticed not all the websites I,ve looked at have the same files.

1. DX10 was added in the 1.7 patch.
2. Yes, you need to download EVERY patch from your current version to 2.602 - at least if you want multiplayer.

if i remember correctly the 1.7.0 patch is the one that adds support for dx10.

im not sure but i think that you have to have patch 1.6.1 installed then install 1.7.0 over that

as far as links

yeah the dx10 patch makes a big difference. i have the game myself.
