[CB] EA Stock Plummets. - Page 15

Reputation play a major role.if in the eyes of gamer any corp dont have the client favor how you expect investor to believe in the brand.like here:but hey out of 10k gamer on #$%&*.com 9k had bad word for &&& enternaiment. Sorry ser but as investor we cant just ingnore client complaint.the target might be ea but any corporation thinking they are above their client complaint is just shooting themselves in the foot.very often they are able to get by because investor dont know the complaint user make.but the investor these days pay more attention to this.because an unhappy gamer means in the long run a very short life for the game

I know it sucks for anyone who works at EA, but giant monopolistic publishers like EA and Activision need to die. They suck up good ideas that scare them, snuff them out, or just pervert the original idea into something stupid and then close the studio that they bought.

Pretty much this. EA makes a lot more money in the console market than it does in the PC market, and the current consoles have just about exhausted themselves. EA's stock will hit bottom right before Microsoft and Sony announce their next consoles, and will appreciate rapidly once the next Madden and FIFA games hit those new consoles.

Being fair, Sims wouldn't have ever come out if they hadn't partnered with EA. More they shouldn't have been bought by EA..Not that they had a choice, EA pretty much ruined The Sims and Simcity.

This is most excellent. I hope they go bankrupt and the studios they own split and become independent again. I'd rather have the independent studios churn out lower budget games with great gameplay than EA with its regurgitated regenerating health, cover system, cinematic bore fests.

This. A detox wouldn't be a bad thing right about now.
