I am assuming Sabertooth Z77 based on your other thread. If that's the case, I don't see why it wouldn't be compatible based on the specs. What makes you think it won't work?

I cant get the system to display any thing on the monitor and i noticed the memeok light on. It seems like the memeok buttn and light is linked with the memory so i was thinking i didnt have the right ram. and in the sabertooth booklet it didnt say the 1866 would work with it. it just was not listed

from what i can tell every thing turns on and works. except the back fan that turns on when i power down the computer and then shuts off after 5 sec.. didnt look right to me

The user manual states that if the DRAM_LED lights continuously, "you should press and hold the MemOK! switch until the DRAM_LED starts blinking to begin automatic memory compatibility tuning for successful boot." Have you tried that?

Also, are you hearing any beeps during POST?

Did you remember to plug a cable into the EATX12V power connector? If so, did you use a 4-pin or an 8-pin?
