I am assuming Sabertooth Z77 based on your other thread. If that's the case, I don't see why it wouldn't be compatible based on the specs. What makes you think it won't work?

I cant get the system to display any thing on the monitor and i noticed the memeok light on. It seems like the memeok buttn and light is linked with the memory so i was thinking i didnt have the right ram. and in the sabertooth booklet it didnt say the 1866 would work with it. it just was not listed

The user manual states that if the DRAM_LED lights continuously, "you should press and hold the MemOK! switch until the DRAM_LED starts blinking to begin automatic memory compatibility tuning for successful boot." Have you tried that?
