As the title says I have had a problem with my memory. I posted This thread the other day and I have come to the conclusion (with the help of the wonderful and amazing admin e-peen) that I need new RAM.

Pretty much I ran memtes86+ for 9 hours today while I was at school and came home to a result of 1372 errors from the memtest...

So I am going to need some new RAM

. I have a P8P67 deluxe mother board. i7-2600k CPU and around $200 to spend. What is the best RAM that I can get right now for that price?

Help would be appreciated very much, thanks

I mean its under $200 dollars and I kinda like the idea of NEVER having an issue with memory... I also really don't like the big bulky look that a lot of the G.skill RAM have, and these are pretty low profile.

This. Enough with gimmicky heatsinks. I've never seen RAM overheat, so i'm not sure how valid heatsinks are. Heatsinks on RAM also block push/pull installs. Plus, like what Bob said, take your time and your Samsung RAM will overclock like a champ. Just look at some of the reviews. Buy another set if you want 16GB.

I mean its under $200 dollars and I kinda like the idea of NEVER having an issue with memory... I also really don't like the big bulky look that a lot of the G.skill RAM have, and these are pretty low profile.

imo it is. from what i hear ddr4 is coming out next year or so. only reason to me to have more then 8gb of ram is if you use photoshop, acad, or some other intensive use programs. im on 8gb and my average max usage is around 5gb
