. if i do any OCing it will be to 4 ghz max because i dont want to ruin anything and i want to run games like Cod Mw3, and BFBC2, Crysis 2, Borderlands. I also have one question... why do i get so many lagspikes? in diablo 3 and mw2, on single player my frames go from 80-40, which LAGS HORRIBLy. its so frustrating and it feels like im 2 fps, i guess its a hiccup. If i havent mentioned already, i got a hd overclockable edition XFX 7770. do i really need to upgrade that on a single 20 something inch 1920x1080 monitor? My motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-MA78LMT-S2 AM3 760G and it beeps because of a broken sensor, which makes it underclock at "100"c. i think
No way am i keeping the current motherboard by the way.

Im sure one of the more experienced members will give a more in depth answer but as a newbie myself this is my understanding.
Lets base this on a crosshair formula v
1 The quality difference in components make it easier to over clock as they can deal with more voltage
2 it is able to run crossfire at 16 x16 rather than less expensive which can generally do 16 x 8
3 there are 3 PCIe 2.0 slots so potenital to run 3 cards at 16x8x8
4 It will cope with ram speeds up to 2133 OC
5 The bios can be more user friendly ie Uefi
6 They generally come with temp monitoring software but hey you can generally get that off the net free anyway
Im sure there is more that I have missed!!
