Corsair 650D FULL WC Build Radiator question - Page 2

If you get a think rad, you'll most likely run into the mobo mosfet heatsinks and cover up your ram. So that means if you have memory issues or want to add more, you'll be taking apart your loop. Just an FYI.

There is always possibility of mounting externally wink.gif
620

All it takes is 4 mm drill and 12 holes in the side-panel to mount the rad as 650D already has the openings for the hoses in the back unless I'm mistaken. While the radiator size would be overkill this particular one is Nova 1080, which costs approx the same as 240 mm + 120 mm while offering three times the surface area and - it's outside the case so you would not have to think too hard about if you want to put your fans on push or pull.

Would still need fan or two on in the case as well ofc, for putting a little air over VRM's n stuff.

Thanx.

If you are interested then I have the unboxing of the rad and first impressions with more pictures posted in here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1252656/nova-1080-radiator-overview-big-picture-warning

The radiator is not exactly gods gift to mankind but its damn good surface area-per-dollar with downside that it does not fit inside the case unless your are on something silly, like mountain mods or equivalent.
