In a message posted on its website, the company said Diablo III players who are less than Level 40, about two-thirds of the way through the program can apply for a refund from June 25 to July 3.

Blizzard will also accept returns from any players less than Level 20, around a third of the way through the program within 14 days of purchase from now on.

Why? Blizzard has been offering refunds in the US to people who bought from their website for several weeks now with no questions asked and no lvl limitations within 30 days of the announcement I believe.. Blizzard has gotten a lot a crap over this release and good bit of its deserved, but honestly what PC Publisher is offering full refunds on PC games. At least they're doing some things still right.

Nope, not even remotely close.

Good on Blizzard for offering people an out. Getting a refund on opened software is pretty much unheard of nowadays.

I tried for ages to get my money back, kept getting passed around from ticket to ticket. Email to email then just gave up even tho it was only a week after I had digitally purcahsed it.
I would have used the phone but I have anxiety and get really nervous on it, so that would not have went well tongue.gif

Ah well I got my money back through the rmah and actually enjoying the game with the new patch, guess it turned out for the better.

People want their 60 dollars back, but would waste it elsewhere. What has gotten into people these days.

I remember buying a crapload of ps1 games, majority were horrible, but I just sucked it up.

D3 wasn't up to my expectations, but people are making it out to be as disappointing as Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.

With the number of exploits, cheating, duping, stealing, and then forcing RMAH without wiping the servers. It is deplorable not to have refunded every legitimate player asking for a refund.

I haven't played D3 outside of that free weekend. Every thing I hear sounds like veterans spinning their tales from the front lines with respect to cheats, exploits, bugs, difficulty, and the RMAH. Was the RMAH that game breaking? Personally, I don't like the concept of enticing people to waste their time farming items in an imaginary world to turn some marginal profit. The fantasy world you escape to sounds like it just got a massive dose of real world problems. All that I hear is making me really not want to bother with D3 at all.

I have to say, I still don't really like Blizzard, and I definitely don't like their DRM feature for Diablo 3.....so I wouldn't have bought this anyway. But this is actually a huge plus one to Blizzard in my book.
