Hello

I want to overclock my ram 1600mhz to 1866mhz

I need advice on Ram Voltage;Timmings;Etc..

Thanks

Iam curious as to why you wish to overclock your ram? In all the gaming benchmarks ive seen the difference between ddr3 1333 and 1866 is less that a frame per second. It seems to me that benchmarks are the only thing that show good improvement.
Worse than crack.

Realy? I thought it changed the performance

The overall score, which is heavily based on the graphics tests, shows a mere ~1% change across the board. When you get to the graphics test, you can see that the faster memory makes absolutely no difference at all.

If your rig is the one in your signature..yes ..you should overclock it to around 2133-2400, IMO
That RAM may not go up to 2133-2400....but your platform does..and the higher RAM makes for better
throughput,regardless....the throughput difference between 1600 and 2133 RAM with the same cpu clocks is substantial
enough to warrant doing it.

set the timings @ like..11-11-11-33-128 and see if it will boot @ 2133Mhz..then tighten them up from there..
How to lower ram timings: lower the 4 settings cL,trcd, trp, tras) 1 setting at a time.one notch at a time .lower it..reboot..see if post..lower 1 more..reboot..etc..until you don't POST..then go back to the last one that worked..this will put you close to where you want to be..
