Not sure what you mean? It has 4 screws holding it in now.

I wish I had a good source for sheet metal and other things in this area. We're pretty rural, and although we used to have several machine/welding shops (I worked at one for 4 years) there's not much here now. I did find a piece of aluminum that was a cover for something I had laying around but it seems to have a crinkle finish. Might be OK once I clean it up, then I need to find a way to set up and bend it. A sheet metal brake would be so handy.

I've even thought about ditching the D5 for 2 smaller pumps, would give some more options for locating/mounting. I love experimenting, but I don't want this to turn into a total money pit.
There's so many ways to go, I'm just trying to think out the possibilities.
Right now I'm still liking the 240 mounted in front. Got some steel mesh around here somewhere as well. Hmmmm.
Still debating the fan shrouds or modding the top. Good airflow being the goal, and I'm OK with a little dremel work if needed.

Got some honeydo's to take care of then back to the build.

I cut out some rubber to make the fan shrouds, and while I'm satisfied with what I did, I just don't think it's the optimal way to go. So I flipped again and decided to do a push/pull on the RX360.
That means I'm back to the plan of removing that plate up top that interferes with flow to the end fan on the rad. Hope to knock that out today with a little drill and dremel work.

Sleeved some more fans, installed mobo to get a look then pulled it out and started tearing the case back down last night.
Finally heard my sleeving tool is on the way, I'm ready to get started on the PSU.

Thanks! Right now every fan is on it's on channel except the 2 fans on the 240 rad are on 1. Hooked up the psu and tried out the fans last night and 3 fans aren't working. Don't know yet whether it's the controller or what. Could be I messed up some wiring when I sleeved them, will have to recheck everything this morning.
First thing I guess is I'll pull out the Lamptron and check each channel with a fan to make sure it's functioning OK. Then I can backtrack and see if there's problems with the fan wiring.
I had to recrimp some new pins here and there on the fan plugs and unfortunately my crimper doesn't seem to work for them, so I did it by hand with pliers and a touch of solder.
I'm using the FTW PC crimper, BTW, and if someone knows something I don't about crimping fan pins please chime in and give me some tips!

Today hopefully I will be ordering a pump top, video card, gpu cooler,etc. Since I've never cooled a video card before I'm going to have to look around and figure that out.
Right now I'm thinking a Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB DDR5 11196-10-40G and praying that's got a reference pcb, and still looking at gpu blocks.

Got some modmesh laying around here. What can I do with it? Hmmmm. Need to get these other parts in so I can figure out if I want to flip the 360 rad so the outlets are at the other end or leave as is.
What else.Oh yeah, I sleeved everything up front not connected to hidden bay controller (haven't put that back in until I get these fans straightened out)

Anyway it's early so I'm gonna finish my coffee and make some decisions.

I sleeved a few cables going to the FP header.

These cables on this Switch are so freaking long! Good grief, I don't know how I'm ever going to clean up the back side of this thing. The USB 3.0 will plug directly into my mobo, but it's long enough to reach the back of the case for some reason.
Got a pump top, a D5 dress kit, HD 7950 & EK block coming this week hopefully, if the mailman doesn't have to break out a boat to get here! Tropical Storm Debbie has dumped more than a foot of rain in this area and some roads are closed.
