I'm checking out the res in the other location. Figure as long as I'm waiting on the paint to dry on the cover parts, might as well check it out!

RE: moving the res. I have to admit it looks pretty good in the side. I haven't got the pump back in yet, still trying to get the painting finished (Rustoleum seems to take forever to dry, but it gives a good gloss finish). Da** spray can just spit and sputtered on me painting the back of the side piece, but at least it'll be out of sight. Right now I'm probably looking at Monday some time as I want to wait on the led's for the res and see how they look vs cathodes.
Not sure how the new cover will work out, but I can always re-mod it if I have to. Trying to stay with a 2-piece top to retain access to the psu, else it would be much simpler.
Have some CF look vinyl ordered, it's not DiNoc but the price was right so depending how it looks it may get added at some point. Supposedly it's less hassle to work with than DiNoc, IDK I've never tried DiNoc but hear getting the bubbles out is a hassle.

Here's a quick shot until I can get some more pics. This is with LED's in either end of the Frozen Q res.

Looks real good Mandrix! Love the psu compartment. I'm really want to do that in my switch! No chance that the PSU will get too hot for lack of circulating air is there? I'm thinking I might add some mesh venting on mine. It will probably be a while anyway. I'm still modding my folding rig right now. (Old Thermaltake V9 Black box). I did get my Vantec Tornados in though....and they both fit fine. I probably could have used 90 or 92mm even. I'll definately be using the fan controller on them - I knew they were loud, just forgot how loud! LOL
Keep up the good work!

Thanks! No, I don't think the psu will overheat. The compartment is open all the way from front to back so there is some air circulating. I have the psu fan pulling fresh air through the bottom of the case, and there is filters on the bottom so no worries.
Also you can't tell from the above shot but the radiator in the bottom has two fans pulling air from under the case as well, and there is large mesh above the radiator.

I will get some more shots soon, right now I'm still trying to run down why the cpu temps are higher than they should be. Haven't been able to burp any more air out so I'm going to swap cpu blocks and see what happens. My temps are running about 9* hotter in this rig than my other one, identical boards, cpu, both have Raystorm blocks but one is full copper the other is copper/acetyl. I have the old Rasa block so I'm going to try it and if the temps are better then I know it's not air in the system.

Since it was actually easier, I set up my second pump to see if it would help purge air out of the system. No good though-I've managed to shave a couple of degrees but that's it. Tomorrow I'll decide whether to pull the block and swap it.

That looks fantastic.

Thanks, Mike, I hope to get some more pics within the next few days.
I'm trying to run down why I"m not getting better cpu temps. I've installed a second MCP655 pump I had here for future mods, cleaned the block, jiggled, tilted, banged and pummeled but can't seem to get the temps down. Graphics card under load temps is great, 38c highest I've seen maxed out.
I'm getting 89c on the hottest cpu core running Prime 95 fft size 8. That seems way out of line to me, I have an identical board/cpu running way less with only an RX240 rad. I've got more than enough flow from what I can see going through the res, so I'm pretty well stumped on this one. I've run both pumps wide open, halfway and everything in between.
Only thing left is to change the block and see what happens, I guess, probably do that today.
