[Kotaku] Expanded Mass Effect 3 Ending Coming On June 26 - Page 2

It had better be free - after the outrage that occurred?

I'm pretty much over the ending, but it'll still be nice I suppose.

1.9 GB though? What exactly have they got in it?

You'll have to resume a saved game from the Cerberus Base attack section in order to see the new content, which BioWare says will change based on what you've done in the series so far.

ಠ_ಠ

This irritates me a bit. I really don't want to have to play the ending over again in order to see the new content.

And yet again, they're hyping how our choices make a huge difference.... which is probably what they said about the original ending.

Bah. I'm a little bit disappointed already.

This better be good. Unfortunately the ending isn't the only thing that bothered me about ME3, but we'll see how it goes.

I know right? How dare people make a complaint about a product that didn't deliver as advertised! We should all just bend over and take it like champs!

They probably just stole the fan created indoctrination theory and added it to their story as if it was always meant to be there. Saves them time from having to think and create something original. Time is money and that's all that matters to EA/bioware/dice.

They've said it's not indoctrination. It's the same endings, it just doesn't end abruptly anymore. Original endings were open ended and let you imagine what happened next. The monsoon of tears caused them to be forced to release training wheels.

I'm sorry, but they really weren't "open ended" and didn't let anyone with a brain "imagine what happened" next. It was pretty straight forward, at least in my case. I had a robot, joker and a few other males stranded on a planet with the entire universe disconnected and lots of people stuck in a place with limited food. So there is potential for some man love and the deaths of millions. It's pretty closed in my case.

Edit: To be clear though, that isn't really what bothers me, what bothers me is that all those years of playing felt completely useless as i stood there and accepted this babble that ghost space kid let out, i wanted an option to say "Pfff, screw that, i ain't listening to you" as that was what my character would have done.

Heard all the skepticism about the ending and their plans for this new DLC before I actually completed the game, decided to wait tell it came out, looks like I can finally finish it. I hope its good. :/

As far as I'm concerned Bioware already blew it big time (first impression) and there is no redemption possible at this point! Thank god I didn't buy it at launch, this should be a learning experience for everyone not to buy into the hype. Don't buy games at launch!!
