The setup in that picture is a "bong cooler". It uses evaporation to cool the water below ambient temps.

Nobody "needs" water cooling. I think you should probably experiment with overclocking before you get water. If you aren't overclocking already then there is simply no need for water cooling. I would try your hand at overclocking first and then get water cooling if you actually run into temperature problems.

The question is not if you need water cooling, but can you justify water cooling. if only to yourself, you always need to be able to justify it. biggrin.gif

Need?

No one really "needs" it, they just want it.

Thee want it because "It's kewl and different".
They want it because it is "More quiet than air when overclocking".
They want it because they can "Overclock farther than on air".

But no one "needs it", they just "want it".

Just like when people ask me "Why do you need to own 87 guns?". My response is the same ... "I don't need them, I want them."

I'd start with the rasa 750 kit. There's quite a bit you can do with that and as far as power supply that would depend on what all else you're running. I was running a 750 watt with the rasa 750 tank/pump (basically the same setup I have now) with 7 fans, and a few lights and two double 6 pin GPUs. Never had any problems.
