As the title states, whether I use the tray icon, right click option, or go to where the file is stored and try and open it I cannot. It will spin the circle showing its trying to do something but nothing will appear. If I open task manager I can actually see that it does add a service "nvcplui.exe" NVIDIA Control Panel Application. If I try and open it a second time, it creates another entry there but no window, nothing appears when I alt tab through things, and nothing in the applications tab of the task manager.
I have a GeForce 670 and I have already reinstalled the latest drivers from the website. I even did a complete uninstall of the previous driver and used Driver Cleaner Pro to remove it completely in safe mode, then reinstalled it and still I cannot open it.
So, anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work?
On a semi related note, how neccesary is it that I have this working? Will it impact much of anything to not be able to access it? I don't want to, but I will reinstall windows and spend hours and hours reconfiguring this computer to how it is now if having it will impact playing games and such, but if there are other ways to get by without it I can manage.
