Besides, it's like I said:  I tried caffeine pills, and I do not like them at all, especially in comparison to the caffeine in this Blast Caffeine Powder.

caffeine is caffeine, lol. i havent looked at the powder, but if its effecting you differently than caffeine pills that are 100% caffeine, the extra ingredients you concerned about are not in the pills, but the powder.

yes caffeine is caffeine, but Blast powder is just caffeine powder otherwise they would have to specify legally. Pills on the other hand like twocables specified earlier do contain many other ingredients hence 100mg pill does NOT equal 100mg of powder. If you don't believe me read a bottle of caffeine pills, it should specify active ingredients and inactive (inactive's still count to overall dose). Inactive ingredients can play a big part on how a person reacts to the pill, some it may hit harder where others it seems to have a lesser effect.

I use Wake Ups for my study marathons lol. 100 pills, 100mg of caffeine each pill. Costs like $10. Cheaper and faster than coffee. Probably as healthy as caffeine gets (no sugary water etc).

Check the ingredients on any caffeine pill.  You should find other ingredients in there along with the caffeine.  All of the non-caffeine ingredients are not 100% harmless for the human body.

Check the ingredients; it may not be 100% caffeine.  I don't know if it's possible to turn pure caffeine into a tablet or a pill without adding extra ingredients.  These extra ingredients are not 100% harmless.

For example, here are ingredients from two products that are apparently popular:

  1. Inactive Ingredients: Lactose, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose
  2. Inactive Ingredients: Corn Starch , Dextrose , Dicalcium Phosphate , D&C Yellow #10 Aluminum Lake , FD&C Yellow #6 Aluminum Lake , Magnesium Stearate , Microcrystalline Cellulose , Silica Gel

Yeah.  Do not want.

Blast Caffeine Powder has just 1 ingredient:  Anhydrous Caffeine

ok, if you people are seriously worried about "harmful additives", i expect the rest of your diet to consist of all natural foods, as in meat from animals you've slaughtered yourself and things that you've grown out of the ground, and nothing processed. As im 99.99999% sure this is not the case, please don't mutter about gelatin and dextrose in supplemental pills you are talking about. if you are actually concerned about your health, you wouldn't be taking caffeine in the first place.

http://www.rightfitnessandnutrition.com/caffeine-scifit.html

100% caffeine, no fillers, weighed out to be 200mg on a digital scale, wasn't tough to find.

as most of this stuff isn't FDA regulated, they really don't have to list much of anything they don't want to lol. but that would be stupid for their company as a whole, so they dont do that.

so, again, if you feel like overpaying for a hyped up caffeine product, which isn't "safe" for you in the first place, then go for it. Or, use the link above to pay $11 for 100g of caffeine

Newest discrete assassination method? Appears on tests as a heart attack due to caffeine overdose......

Someone do a test, pour the entire packet into a drink and see if it all dissolves..... then see if you can taste it...... but avoid drinking so much as to die.

Seriously though this product seems like it could be dangerous in the hands of many.... I know plenty of people with absolutely terrible decision making skills. I could definitely see at least a couple guys I know killing someone unintentionally thinking it would be a funny prank putting a whole packet in a drink..... assuming your body would absorb it all.

Or correct diet and exercise so you don't have to take caffeine for energy.

I decided to just start with one incase it didn't work since I've built such high tolerance to the drinks. It doesn't really give me a kick, more like a shove but that's to be expected with the horrible quality of sleep I've been getting the past few years. I use about 300mg a day, compared to 550mg when I was drinking e.drinks. 100mg lasts me a good 10 hrs I'd say? It slowly wears off unlike the drinks where it's just there one second, gone the next. I'll be buying more when it runs out. thumb.gif

I don't trust pills, I've seen the nasty side of the big medical corporations and they can get away with a lot of bad... stuff. I'm more trusting of smaller companies that are trying to build a rep rather that ones that can skate by on one.
