Hello I am looking for a gaming mouse and just cannot satisify myself. If you could please help me choose that would help tons, below are the mice I looked at.

Razer Mamba 2012: Did not like how only scroll wheel lit up, dock is nice but only does blue and green, while my room is red.

R.A.T. 7: Does not light up, like the snipe mode button.

So far im leaning towards the Rat 7 but im still unsure.

what all do you want in a mouse?
Red lighting, look cool, maybe wireless, fps mouse

They are lol I cant find one that is good quality, and glows red.

Also Im focusing on more of an fps, right handed type mouse, does not have to be wireless but I would like it to be.

Why do you want wireless?

And you could always get the Razer Naga special edition that comes in red..

Even if you want an FPS mouse, it has more than enough DPI to handle an FPS and you have extra buttons if you ever want them..

Outside of that you could just get the solid black razer death adder since most computer periphs are black these days..

Don't listen to the guy above you, he's probably some Apple fanboy who plays TF2 at lowest settings at 800x600

EDIT: badly

If you want something that's not flashy at all, get something like a Logitech mouse or a Steelseries Xai.

If you want a little bit of e-peen and more flashy lights, the Sensei is the same form factor as the Xai but you can customize its colors.

They all cost quite a bit though, so if you are stuck at all just Phuck the world and get a DeathAdder because it has amazing tracking, nice ergonomics, and is just a solid mouse. EDIT2: The Black Edition is very subtle and has a better finish on it

Deathadder 3.5g Black Edition. Newegg sells them. This way, it's all black and won't contrast with your red color scheme like blue and green lights, has one of the best sensors found in a mouse, and fits very comfortably in your hand, whether you have small hands and palm grip, or you fingertip/claw grip like myself.

But I want it to glow.

1. Buy normal DeathAdder
2. Open up Mouse and change LED.
3. ????
4. Profit.

I've seen some worthless replies so far but yours is there at the top. Either you're mentally challenged or trolling, whichever it is, you're on the wrong forum.

@ OP:
Now don't take this the wrong way but to me it seems like you're asking for a good looking mouse that will look cool on your desk. Personally I think that's a terrible mindset to pick a mouse. But chances are you won't feel a difference between mice and their performance so here are some suggestions:

Roccat kone[+] => I had the Kone and it worked decent enough for a while, installing drivers and getting it to work was a PITA sometimes though. Lots of choice for the colours.
Logitech G500 => Looks good, glow is more orange than red though. I hated this mouse with a passion, LOD is terrible (it stops tracking quite low but then starts again erratically), tracking wasn't perfect either, Scroll wheel is horrible. the overall quality feel of the mouse wasn't great and last but not least the sensor is placed at the top instead of the center of the mouse which can take some getting used to.
CM Storm has some red glowing mice as well.
Zowie AM has red accents but doesn't glow, it's ambidextrous as well.

Personally, and this depends on how competitive you are and on your skill level in gaming, I'd stop looking at the outside of a mouse and start looking at the inside. I once believed in high DPI numbers and flashy lights, never again. All the mice I've had pale in comparison to this Razer DeathAdder Black edition I have now. It's that good. (Well, my logitech MX510 was quite awesome in its day as well

) .
I'd buy something subtle and of decent quality that doesn't get old (or look out of place when you change color schemes).

I couldn't agree more, this is amongst the top of the most worthless replies ever.

And on topic: I think it also depends on your playing style. You know, there are mice for people with a palm grip, or mice with a claw grip, or for people with a fingertip grip. Mouse X will feel very different to person A than it will feel to person B...
I think it's best if you first told us how you play. Do you like move your arm around all the time, or does your palm barely move at all?

I'm still a little iffy on all the Mad Catz mice - they seem too gimmicky and really, the most important thing about a mouse is its sensor, which will provide both speed and accuracy. Next comes ergonomics, which affects how nicely it sits in your hand. You're gonna want to do a little bit more searching into a mice which has an ergonomic you prefer (firsthand experience holding the mouse is always the best choice) and a nice sensor. I would put the looks of the mouse in lowest priority if I was choosing a mouse.

I would recommend the DeathAdder Black Edition for its tried and true sensor and also not too bad ergonomics, as well as a nice finish.

The Steelseries Sensei is an ambidextrous mouse, so its ergonomics won't be as awesome, but you can choose a color scheme for it - I'm assuming all red, for both the scroll wheel and the logo. Its sensor is not as awesome as the DeathAdder's, but still a good mouse nonetheless.

The Mionix Naos 5000 has great ergonomics and also a customizable color scheme, but I have never used one and I can't tell you how great the sensor is.

Just search around these forums for other threads like yours, try to get into shops and try out some mice firsthand to see which one feels the best for you - because everyone holds mice slightly differently.

EDIT1&2: Typos

I am looking at the M.M.O. 7 thread now.

If it's all about aestetics and gorgeous looks, I suggest you take a look at Razer's page and decide which one you find the best suited for you.
