[Build Log] Coolermaster HAF XM Republic of Gamers Build - Page 6

Thread Starter

SO I just got my 3570K in the mail and... its amazing. I think I won the silicon lottery again! Im getting amazing temps for Ivy Bridge with my H50.

1.344v

4.4Ghz

I ran Prime 95 for about 2 hours and my max temp was like 54c... and idle is around 27c

Im getting two Corsair SP 120 Quiet Edition fans for my H50 tomorrow to use in push-pull. So I expect temps will be even lower.

Ivy Bridge heat issues my ass gunner2.gifdevil.gif

Nice!

I don't think i'll be getting an RoG board. I'm looking at the AsRock x79 extreme4. biggrin.gif

I think I will do a build log for mine as well, just have to plan it out carefully first.

I really like your pc though, it looks great!

Just got two Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition fans for the H50, really quiet and helping drop them temps, 3570K doesnt go over 60c at 4.6Ghz, 1.344v at 100% load. Amazing. Not in a big hurry to get real watercooling anymore. I underestimated my H50 as its doing so well kepping those Ivy Bridge temps low :D I may get real watercooling if the CPU gets too hot for my liking at higher voltages.

Impressed with the fans though, real quiet.. and they look good ;D1000

Watch those volts man, 1.344v is almost the max you wanna put through an ivy bridge (Max being 1.4v) I'd try and see if you can lower it a bit, I run my 3570K at 4.5GHz and 1.19v.
