Origin is trash .. till date we still need to use a VPN to get Origin to work in this part of the world ... where as STEAM runs flawlessly

So yeah, goodluck with that EA. Three days to get payment vi paypal to work on Origin, few minutes to remember my paypal password on Steam.

If they wanted it to be like facebook, why didn't EA just work with Facebook and build FB into their games instead tongue.gif

Considering most already use FB, it would be a better option for most. Then if the had a plugin/addon for FB that allowed you to view servers and join games with friends you wouldn't need anything else tongue.gif

As much of a pain I find Origin to be, I'm happy that they (or at least they say they) recognize it needs improvement and are willing to do such. I really hope Origin becomes a good competitor to steam in terms of functionality and game variety.

I don't think they have really done much with Origin yet. It's been around since BF3 launched last year, and I can't think of any major updates it has had for functionality.
